Everything here is free to attend. That works because venue, food and cloud credits come from companies who employ the people in the room.
Venue
A room for forty to two hundred people, in Lagos, Abuja or Port Harcourt.
Named as host on the event page, thirty seconds at the top of the evening.
Food
Dinner for the room. Roughly ₦450,000 for a hundred and fifty people.
A logo on the event page and a mention in the dispatch that week.
Cloud credits
Sandbox accounts for workshop participants, typically $50 a head for a day.
Named in the lab materials, which stay in the public repository afterwards.
A speaking slot. Talks are selected by the organisers from open proposals, and a sponsor’s submission goes through the same review as everyone else’s. No product pitches from the stage, and no attendee list, people give us their email to hear about events, not to be sold to.
