About devops.ng
devops.ng is a practitioner publication and community for DevOps, FinOps and applied AI teams in Nigeria.
What this platform is for
We publish practical field notes from production work: what changed, what broke, what was measured and what teams learned. The goal is not generic thought leadership; it is decision support for builders and operators.
Every edition is curated to keep signal high: concise updates in Radar, deeper context in Dispatch, and questions from teams actively shipping.
Coverage
Platform engineering and infrastructure operations
Cloud cost management and FinOps implementation
Reliability engineering, incident response and post-incident practice
Applied AI in software delivery and production systems
Editorial standards
1. Submissions must be original and not published elsewhere first.
2. Posts should be written for practitioners and grounded in real delivery work.
3. Pieces must be vendor-neutral and avoid promotional language.
4. Explain outcomes with evidence: latency, cost, incidents, reliability, or developer throughput.
5. Most long-form dispatch stories should land between 600 and 1,200 words.
How to contribute
devops.ng publishes directly from this repository. Add or update content, run validation, then commit and push. If your piece is a fit, it appears in the next edition.
